Paula Jones

Originally from Alabama, Paula now calls Middle Tennessee home and is committed to uplifting her community. She is both a ministry leader and a human resources (HR) professional who uses her gifts to serve others. An ordained minister at First Baptist Church (Murfreesboro, TN), she actively supports her faith community. Professionally, she is a federal HR leader with the Department of Veterans Affairs, where she develops policies, leads strategic projects, and advances the organization’s mission. She holds an SPHR certification, a Public Leadership Credential from the Harvard Kennedy School, and earned both her B.S. (2004) and M.S. (2007) from the University of Alabama. She is pursuing an M.A. in Theology at Princeton Theological Seminary with a focus on Justice and Public Life. Paula enjoys writing devotionals, cooking, hosting, volunteering, and traveling. Above all, she treasures raising her gifted and kind teenage son, Evan.
